Dr. Souvorova was born and raised in Russia before her family immigrated to the U.S at the age of 12. Since then she has called California home. Dr. Souvorova obtained a bachelors degree in biology from University of California Berkeley, followed by graduation from Western University School of Podiatric Medicine in Pomona, CA.
Dr. Souvorova received her first 2 years of surgical training at Scripps Mercy, San Diego. Her final year of residency was completed at Kaiser Sacramento, a busy level II Trauma Center.
Dr. Souvorova's comprehensive training encompassed surgical planning and operative technique for elective and non-elective foot & ankle reconstruction and trauma, diabetic limb salvage, sports medicine and primary podiatric care. Dr. Souvorova currently holds board qualifications in both foot & ankle reconstruction through the American Board of Podiatric Surgeons.
Outside of clinic and the operating room, Dr. Souvorova enjoys reading, cooking, painting, exercising, and most importantly spending time with her loved ones, having finally settled in San Diego.
